Cyclo-ssage support Riding for The Disabled Print E-mail
Cyclo-ssage is committed to supporting charities helping people to improve their quality of life and is proud to announce their new partnership with Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

Cyclo-ssage and RDA are delighted to have witnessed the benefits that the Pro Personal and Equine Massage Systems can provide to RDA Participants and their horses. Using non-invasive cycloidal massage, plus infrared heat, Cyclo-ssage can help improve the quality of life by reducing aches and pains, improving mobility and stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation. Regular users also report enhanced respiratory function and increased energy levels in addition to both mental and physical relaxation.

Following a trial at one of the oldest RDA centres, the results are already becoming evident amongst the RDA members who were involved, as Deborah Hall, Manager of Chigwell Riding Trust for Special Needs confirmed. “With the help of our physio we hand-picked half a dozen riders who we felt would benefit from this system,” she says. “Comments from riders included a cerebral palsy boy, who uses crutches, standing up after his session and walking with his crutches saying ‘my legs feel so light, this must be what it’s like to be a normal person’.”

“A twelve year old girl with lymphatic problems stood up after her session and said ‘I am feeling parts of my feet I didn’t know I had’ she then rode and said she felt more relaxed. A third rider, another young lady with cerebral palsy, finished her session and walked over to stroke a dog lying on the floor. Her mother’s reaction was ‘well she has never been able to bend over, maintaining her balance like that before’. Needless to say the parents of all these children are more than impressed.”

Ed Bracher, Chief Executive of RDA states “We are really pleased that Cyclo-ssage has chosen to support RDA. This new partnership demonstrates a real commitment to us and our work, with RDA receiving a donation of £50 for each system sold to an RDA Group, Volunteer or Participant. RDA is reliant on voluntary help and donations, and in this, our 40th Anniversary year, the support of companies such as Cyclo-ssage is particularly appreciated. We currently provide opportunities to ride and carriage drive to over 26,500 people with disabilities across the UK each year, and for every one of our riders there are four waiting for a place."

The Pro Personal Massage System can be used at home or away and offers nine, easy to use, pre-set massage options designed to relieve the secondary symptoms of a wide range of medical conditions and disabilities. The Pro Personal System can be simply adjusted to ensure the maximum benefit for each individual user.

Cyclo-ssage is offering all members and supporters the benefit of a free home trial. To find out more about the Pro Personal Massage System or any other Cyclo-ssage products, telephone 0800 169 2808 or visit www.cyclo-ssage.com
