Are there any side effects?
All of the massage systems in the Cyclo-ssage range use Cycloidal massage action which is non invasive and there are no known side effects. Some dogs may take longer to get used to the massage action, and we always advise that the System is used on the softest setting to start with to allow the dog to accustom to it. If your dog shows any signs of discomfort or unease do not use the system until you have sought advice.

Will the massage system help joint problems and arthritis?
The Pro Canine Massage System has proved to improve performance and comfort levels in dogs that suffer from stiffness and joint related problems.

How long does the treatment take?
Each programme lasts for 15 minutes.

Can I do any harm with the System?
The non invasive Cycloidal action means that existing problems are not aggravated by the system.

How should I introduce my dog to the System?
We recommend starting on the softest programme until your dog is used to the rug. Some dogs enjoy the stronger massage straight away but we advise users to start slowly and gradually increase it over time.

How often can I use the System with my dog?
The system is better used on short intervals rather than long periods of time. The benefits of massage are accumulative over time so regular use will enhance the benefits.

How do I clean the system?
The system has twin removable fleece linings that can be removed and washed in a washing machine. The System itself should not be exposed to water – however wiping down the fabric if necessary should be done with a mild detergent and warm water. For kennels or breeders we recommend purchasing several fleece linings to avoid cross contamination.

Can I leave my dog unattended when using the System?
We recommend that your dog remains under supervision for the duration of the massage.

Why is it better to use Cycloidal massage rather than vibrational massage?
Cycloidal massage moves in three different directions rather than vibrational which only moves back and forth – this can cause damage to the skeletal structure. Cycloidal massage helps improve circulation which in turn speeds up healing and relaxes the muscles.

How long will the battery last?
On average a battery charge will last 3 to 4 x 15 minute massage sessions and may be re charged hundreds of times.

What do I do if there is a technical problem?
